Privacy

Your work is your work.

This page explains in plain language how OFF BOOK handles what you keep in it.

What we store

Your account email, and whatever you choose to put in your workspace: auditions, character books, scripts and sides, annotations, rehearsals, self-tapes, monologues, notes, calendar entries, inspiration, watch entries and profile details. Uploaded files (script PDFs, video takes, images, audio notes) are stored privately.

Who can see it

You. Every record and every uploaded file is tied to your account, and access rules are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface. Other actors using OFF BOOK cannot reach your work. There is no feed and no sharing by accident.

The optional public page

You can publish a simple actor page at its own link. It is off until you switch it on, and only the specific fields you tick appear on it. Nothing from your workspace — no auditions, scripts, tapes, rehearsals, characters or notes — can be published. You can take the page down at any time.

Deleting things

Archive work to move it out of the way, restore it later, or delete it for good. Deleting your account from settings removes your records and your uploaded files with it.

Service providers

OFF BOOK runs on hosted infrastructure for its database, authentication and file storage. Those providers process your data on our behalf in order to run the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your work to train anything.
